Her creative endeavors began as a child when she was allowed to express herself in multiple artistic outlets. In school she studied painting, photography, writing, dance, drama and music. As an adult she continues to expand her creative education through workshops, music lessons, and art classes. Always continuing her artistic evolution, Lizzy sees all of her work as a constant journey of discovery. An animal lover at heart and a fierce environmental advocate, she has integrated her appreciation of nature with her passion for art in all it’s forms.

As a mixed media artist, Lizzy is proficient in many styles and mediums - from ink drawing to paper collage, yarn work to digital art, canvas painting to clothing fabrication, and everything in between. Her art is characterized by naturalistic textures and subject matter, while playing in multiple mediums with whimsical color and exaggerated proportion. Her subjects often seem recognizable, looking back at the viewer with a feeling of connection, and an added sense of the surreal.

Recognized with having a natural vibrato at a very young age, Lizzy has used her musical talents as a hobbyist and professionally. Her distinct singing voice evokes the mellow tones of some of the most notable female folk and pop vocalists in the last five decades. Able to capture the spirit across multiple genres while playing a ukulele or guitar, Lizzy’s haunting melodies intrigue and inspire her audience.

Her primary source of inspiration and verve for her professional career comes from her love of the outdoors and having extremely supportive family and friends. Lizzy lives with her two amazing children, one enthusiastic step-son, and her incredible partner. Plus, her super cool service dog, two bunnies, a 22-year-old parrot and slew of fish. She can often be found barefoot in her studio, singing along with her ukulele or working on a canvas, paint covering her hands.
